In Memoriam

With a family that has been around as long as the Oilers have (almost 40 years), and has become so extensive, sadly it is inevitable that each year members of our family will pass away.

There are so many special people along the way that have contributed to making the Oilers the longest continually running semi-pro football organization in the United States. Players, coaches, so many volunteers, families, friends, and fans.

While we do our best to acknowledge the contributions of the extended Oiler family while they are with us, when a member of the family does pass, we would like to pause and send our condolences and prayers. And when possible we'd like to recognize those individuals on this website, just to let the families know they are in our thoughts and prayers.

Some of the family members we have lost in the last year include:

* Joyce Bruning (mother and grandmother of many Oiler players and volunteers)
