Game One:
The Oilers got the season off to a good start with a 21-7 victory over the Brockton (Bay State) Bucaneers in the 50th Anniversary Kickoff Classic on June 26, 2010. The team got a stellar effort from its defense, particularly from Johnny Epps, Marcus Barrow, and Colby Gallagher. Big plays were made by skill position players Brooks Payne, Will Price, Dan Carrrol, Steve "WolfPack" Marinilli. The quarterback duo of James Merrick and Ryan Myers hung tough in the pocklet and made clutch throws.
