: Oilers (1-0) defeat RI, 13-8 (Mike Green 79 yds rushing, QB Mike Lear rushed for a td. DB John Price had 2 INT's and was named EFL Defensive Player of the week), Sam Pearson had an INT as well. Comer played punter, safety, running back, wide receiver, defensive end, and thre a halfback option pass)

Gm 2: Oilers (1-1) lose to Cobras, 48-35 (5 td passes by Comer), passed for 279 yds, rushed for 56 yds and had a 44 yd punting avg)

Gm 3: Oilers (1-2) lose to Roxbury, 20-15 (Mark Royster & Brian McKanobb each had 2 INT's. 2 4th quarter TD passes from Mike Lear to Charles Williams).

Gm 4: Oilers (1-3) lose to Quincy, 42-6. (Anthon Comer threw a 5 yd td pass to Mike Green for the Oilers only score of the night)
